Smash 2016 (Inter – School VolleyBall Tournament)
Now it was the turn for the next sporting event in the school “Volleyball” under the title ‘Smash’ from 22nd Nov to 25th Nov, 2016. Eight prestigious schools of Delhi took part in the tournament to exhibit sporting talent.
The finalists were MDH & LBS School of the tournament. Lal Bahadur Shastri School outshone the MDH School in the ‘Best of Three’ sets. Kartik of LBS was adjudged the ‘Best Player’ of the tournament. The semi-finalists were MDH Vs HHFS, and Blue Bells Vs LBS.
The game provided opportunity to young talents to excel themselves in Volleyball. It also gave hope to future stars. Each player gave in everything taught by his coach. The tournament represented unity and strength. It also taught how to inculcate co-ordination in order to achieve the final goal.
