Independence Day Celebration – 14 August 2026
The Independence Day celebration was held at our school on 14 August 2026 with great enthusiasm, joy, and patriotic spirit. The entire school came together to celebrate the spirit of freedom and to express love and respect for our nation.
The programme began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal Sir in the presence of NSG commandos. Their presence added a special sense of pride and honour to the occasion. The flag-hoisting ceremony was followed by a feeling of patriotism and respect for our country among everyone present.
The cultural programme began with a delightful and energetic dance performance by the Tiny Tots. Their innocent smiles, enthusiasm, and graceful movements added charm and warmth to the celebration. The little ones beautifully expressed their love for the nation through their performance.
This was followed by a melodious patriotic song presented by the students of Class IV. Their heartfelt performance created a wonderful patriotic atmosphere and reminded everyone of the sacrifices and contributions made for the freedom of our country.
A quiz on the theme “Vande Mataram” was also conducted for the students. The quiz provided an interesting opportunity for the students to learn more about the history. The students participated with great excitement and enthusiasm. Those who gave the correct answers were awarded sweets as a token of appreciation and encouragement.
The celebration continued with a vibrant and energetic dance performance by the students of Classes VI to VIII dedicated to our soldiers. Their well-coordinated movements, enthusiasm, and confidence beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity, and national pride.
The event was memorable as, our little children role played the characters of our great freedom fighters.
The programme concluded on a joyful and patriotic note. The Independence Day celebration was a memorable and inspiring occasion that encouraged the students to respect the nation, appreciate its rich heritage, and uphold the values of unity, courage, discipline, and patriotism in their lives.
