Festivals and Occasions of cultural importance, like Republic Day and Independence Day are celebrated with full vigor in the school. Flag Hoisting,Patriotic Songs and Dance presentations are followed by a parade. Also, being a secular school, we celebrate all festivals like Id, Diwali, Christmas, Guru Nanak Jayanti etc. with zeal and enthusiasm. Students are explained about the importance of all events in our National history during every such event. These celebrations bring the feeling of “Oneness” and “Unity” in our students.
In the month of December every year, a winter carnival is organized by the school. This event gives our students to express themselves freely in a casual environment. Food Stalls, Games, Performances and lots of other exciting activities are held, which the students enjoy a lot. Students also set up and run their own Game stalls. They procure the necessary items for organizing the game and also the gifts to be awarded to winners. They also set the prices at which they would like the participants to play the game. Such activities develop the spirit of Entrepreneurship in our students.
A plethora of Co-Curricular activities are organized every year. These activities include Debate, Elocution, Dance, Music, Extempore, Quiz etc. These competitions are held at the Inter-House, Inter-Class and Intra-Class levels across various categories such as Sub Junior, Junior and Senior. The motive behind such activities is to make all our students confident speakers, orators and performers. This also enables us to identify the talented students who are further groomed to represent the school at various Inter School Competitions.
Special Assemblies are organized routinely where a particular House takes responsibility of the same. These assembles focus on bringing to the fore the Latest News and Events that happened during the fortnight, Celebration of a festival, Public Speaking and demonstrations etc.
